模拟联合国（Model United Nations），简称模联（MUN），是模拟联合国大会和其它多边机构会议的学生活动。在模联活动中，学生们扮演各个国家的外交官，以联合国会议的形式，阐述观点、辩论政策、投票表决、做出决议，真实体验联合国的运作模式，进而了解国际时事，熟悉国际政治运作模式，尤其适合未来有意向学习国际政治、外交、经济、心理等人文社科专业的学生。

Model UN is a popular activity for those interested in learning more about how the UN operates. At a MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world. MUN teaches participants skills like research, public speaking, debating, and writing, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. MUN is meant to engage students, and allow them to develop deeper understanding into current world issues. Therefore, it meets the interest of students who intend to study international politics, diplomacy, economics, psychology and all related social studies majors.

01、峰会简介

About NAIMUN

北美模拟联合国大会（NAIMUN）是一年一度在华盛顿特区举办的模联会议，是北美地区乃至全球历史最为悠久的高中生模拟联合国峰会之一。自1963年以来，该峰会吸引了来自世界各地的成千上万名高中生前来讨论、谈判和辩论全球问题。

年均超过3300名参会者的峰会举办4天，期间参会者模拟联合国各国代表开展活动。模拟活动多达40个，涉及常任理事会、安全理事会、地区/国家议会、企业理事会及政治组织的危机模拟等。此外，参会者还有机会领略首都风采，与志同道合的小伙伴们度过难忘的模联时光。

The North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN), an annual conference held in Washington D.C., is one of the oldest UN simulations for high school students in North America and the world. Since 1963, the conference has been a forum in which a dynamic range of young students come from around the world to seek, through discussion, negotiation and debate, solutions to the various problems of the world.

The 3,300+ participants convene for four days, simulating their role as delegates to the United Nations from a particular nation and serving as representatives of that country's policies. Students at NAIMUN are pushed to heighten their understanding of the international system through an incredible 40 mini-simulations, ranging from standard committees like the UN General Assembly and the Security Council to crisis simulations of various regional organizations, national cabinets, corporate boards, and political organizations. Plus, participants will have the opportunity to explore the nation's capital and engage with other passionate and dedicated students.

Middle and high school students worldwide can join the conference. Independent delegations have a minimum size of one and must be accompanied by an advisor (who can be a parent, faculty advisor, teacher, or other trusted guardian).
