你好呀,我是来自加拿大的雅思外教Mac。
不清楚单词意思的,自己查,自己查了印象才更深。
Remember, for both the speaking and the writing parts of the IELTS test, there are 4 scoring categories for each. If you are trying to get a 6.5 or 7, you may want to get a 7 in the “Lexical Resource” (vocabulary) category.
Here’s a list, by subject and function, of some helpful words, terms, and collocations (which are especially important). Be sure to mark down what type of words they are: a verb, noun, adjective, adverb or preposition and define them, and for practice, make a sentence for each one, and then include them in both your writing and speaking practice. To triple your vocabulary, make sure to study the different forms of each word (noun, adjective, etc.)
Some of the words and phrases listed here will also be especially useful for the listening and reading parts, so even for a band score 6 much of this vocabulary will be useful.
Finally, some of the lists contain excellent words and collocations for TASK 1 writing and some for TASK 2, so I suggest making a note of this when you are reviewing this list.
