如果觉得重要，可以说： 有助于学生去建立历史的 context，比如如果记住了历史事件的时间，对于不同事件的顺序，什么导致了什么发生等等会更清楚，对历史的学习是好的。
另外，记住事件的发生日期和名字后，接下来读书学习或者和别人聊历史都会更方便，比如书上提到一个历史事件的名字，能够马上反应过来具体的时期和背景，不需要反应很久，和别人聊天也是。
如果觉得没必要，可以说： 对历史学习来说，更为重要的是事件的意义，而不是时间和名字，学生应该更关注什么导致了这个事件，这个事件有什么影响等等。
另外，记年份日期和名字很耗时间，学生可能需要花上一段时间才能记住到底是哪一年那一天，后面还得花时间复习，没有必要；这些上网稍微搜一下就有了，需要的时候查就好。
