Nowadays, people believe that governments should invest taxpayers' money in healthcare, while others believe that money should be used in other areas. Discuss both points of view and give your opinion.

Should governments provide healthcare for all people, or should they usethe budget in other areas? This is a question that confronts allgovernments in the world.
On the one hand, the investment made by the goverments in medicare may prove very rewarding. If the healthcare is made free, people will not have to worry about the expensive healthcare expenses.
This is particularly important tothose economically underprivileged. With the availability of healthcare, they can go to hospital wheneverthey find necessary without worrying about money. This will, of course, enhance their sense of well-beingand the entire society will become much more harmonious. My uncle is a good example.
He developed T.B. when he was at his 50s. He would be dead now but for the free healthcare policy practiced in the region where he lives. Now he and his family arevery much grateful tothe local government and would do everything for it.
On the other hand, free medicare will certainly imposea huge amount of financial burden ontothe government budget.Government money collected from the taxpayers should go to more important sectors such as education, science and technology, and environmental protection, sectors that concern almost all people. The public money invested in these areas, therefore, will create a more just society.
Taking these two sidesinto consideration,we mayconclude thatwhether governments should invest in the healthcare is dependent uponthe people who receive it.
For those who are rich enough to pay for theirown healthcare, governments should make them pay themselves, but for those not rich enough, the government should make healthcare available to them free of charge. This solution is perhaps not that perfect, but it may be the best one for the time being.
